All US. Residents are eligible to participate. Drawing will be held on June 18th, 2008. Raffle ticket purchases are not mandatory to attend event and do not count as an individual charity donation. Winner need not to be present to win. Notification of Winner will be posted by midnight of June 19th, 2008. Notification of prize will be sent to the  winner via email. The cost of each raffle ticket is $5.00 per ticket (an additional processing fee of .99 cents will be charged if purchaed online). Raffle ticket purchase only guarantees one entry per ticket into the drawing and does not cover any additional costs. All raffle tickets must be purchased in advanced by noon, June 18th, 2008 or until all tickets are sold.  A minimum of 20 raffle tickets must be sold for raffle to be valid or contest will be extended for an additional 14 days until minimum entries requirement has been met, but not to exceed 60 days past original drawing date. Odds of winning are based on amount of tickets sold, not to exceed 300 tickets.

All Net Proceeds will be used towards the Sankofa Center and sponsorship of Jaeda Raines' volunteer partipicpation in the 2008 November/December Dance Drama Program.

Jaeda Raines w/ The Sankofa Center For African Dance and Culture

The Sankofa Center for African Dance and Culture is a 501(c)3 non profit organization combining traditional African dance and music as a tool for HIV/AIDS education and community outreach. The Sankofa Center uses the dance and music of Africa's past to foster health and understanding of HIV/AIDS in the current generation in hopes of preventing the destruction of their future. The Sankofa Center's programming is two-fold: touring dance-dramas are aimed at educating margainalized villagers with little access to resources and information; and, after-school programs that target youth between the ages of 13-19+.
